Occupancy Tax Grants

The Spring Application Cycle for the TOJ Occupancy Tax Granting is April 1 – 30.

SUBMISSION: Completed applications may be submitted via email to adminclerk@johnsburgny.gov or delivered to the Town Office.

IMPORTANT INFO BEFORE COMPLETING YOUR APPLICATION

  1. The application and the rubric have both been updated since last year.  

  2. Please download the form before completing. Some browsers do not support saving filled PDFs. 

  3. Each section has a word limit, so we encourage you to keep responses clear and concise. Focus on the most important details—there’s no need to over-explain. The Committee will reach out if any clarification is needed.

  4. If you were unable to attend the Workshop on March 31, notes will be available at the April 1 Town Board Meeting or by request (email bowers@johnsburgny.gov). 

  5. Applications are due by 3:30 pm on April 30, either submitted in person at Town Hall or via email.

  6. Incomplete applications, or applications submitted after 3:30 p.m. on April 30, will not be accepted.

NEW INFO: Applications submitted between April 1 – April 15 will be invited to the April 22 Occupancy Tax Committee meeting where applicants may answer questions in person and receive feedback from the Committee. Applicants may revise and resubmit their applications based on this feedback.
